On Friday, TN BJP spokesperson Narayanan Thirupathy called out Chief Minister M K Stalin to clarify the alleged audio involving DMK MP A Raja. The unverified clip supposedly captures Raja lamenting about the DMK's neglect during his incarceration.

The tape, disseminated on social media, depicts Raja expressing disappointment with DMK leadership for their lack of support during his Tihar Jail stint in the 2G spectrum scam, until Kanimozhi joined him in prison. Thirupathy says this reflects DMK's actual social justice stance.

Additionally, Thirupathy rebuffed rumors about PM Narendra Modi's tour in Tamil Nadu, condemning reports of a supposed rally cancellation due to Modi's alleged anger. He clarified that Modi is slated to visit Chennai and Puducherry, dismissing the false media narrative.
