Banerjee Takes Aim at BJP’s Bengal Battle Plans

In a fiery speech during a poll rally in Malda district, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee took aim at Union Home Minister Amit Shah, dismissing his plans to camp in the state for 15 days as inconsequential to the BJP's success. Banerjee argued that Shah's efforts would be futile, asserting, "people of Bengal do not like you."

Banerjee also targeted Asaduddin Owaisi, without naming him, accusing AIMIM of collaborating with BJP to disrupt Malda, tarnishing the region's reputation. She highlighted the arrest of outsiders responsible for besieging seven judicial officers, attributing these disturbances to a calculated strategy by the BJP.

Emphasizing BJP's alleged manipulation of the electoral landscape, Banerjee challenged the party's credibility and reiterated that AIMIM's entry into Bengal politics aims to split minority votes. As the election approaches, Banerjee rallied her party's supporters, warning against fraud and stressing the necessity of their continued grassroots efforts.
