Kashmir's Inspector General of Police, V K Birdi, has issued directives to bolster security at vital sites and tourist attractions as the region anticipates critical upcoming events.
During a security review meeting, Birdi emphasized the importance of refining existing security measures and optimizing personnel deployment at sensitive locations.
The meeting further addressed the need for vigilant surveillance against anti-national activities, efficient traffic management in Srinagar, and comprehensive preparations for Hajj travel, alongside proactive social media monitoring to curb misinformation.
