Bharat Vandana Park in Dwarka is poised for public unveiling in phased openings, official sources revealed on Friday.

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has submitted a proposal to the lieutenant governor. This aims to inaugurate sections of the park while construction hurdles are tackled. Spanning approximately 200 acres in Sector 20, Dwarka, Bharat Vandana is conceived as a cultural and recreational destination featuring landscaped greens, water bodies, thematic zones, and architectural marvels.

The phased opening plan proposes that areas, including a meditation zone, Vandana Sarovar water body with boating, and a vast public congregation space, are the initial offerings to visitors. Additionally, a unique attraction is the Mini India zone, emulating a map-like layout with monument replicas from different Indian states and Union Territories. The proposal awaits approval from the LG, also DDA's chairman, with an official decision anticipated soon.
