An incident involving an Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft rendered the runway at Pune Airport temporarily unavailable on Friday, officials reported. While the aircrew escaped unharmed, there was no damage to civil property.
The Indian Air Force announced on platform X that efforts are in full swing to operationalize the runway and resume regular flight operations at the earliest opportunity.
A senior police official mentioned that the IAF aircraft experienced a 'hard landing' but declined to provide further details.
