Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, a prominent leader from Congress, launched a scathing attack on Assam's Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma during poll rallies, accusing him of heading a government drowned in corruption.
Highlighting various alleged scams, she criticized the BJP-led administration for failing to deliver on key promises, particularly for Assam’s tribal communities and tea garden workers. Vadra underscored the struggles of common people amidst rising inflation and unemployment.
Vadra also demanded justice for deceased musician Zubeen Garg, insisting on a government committed to supporting Assamese culture and ensuring accountability within 100 days of election victory.
