In the interview, Sarma made comments on issues like India-Bangladesh relations, police operations, and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, which drew sharp criticism. Saikia highlighted the alleged undermining of the Assam police and condemned Sarma's comments as inappropriate and undemocratic.
