In a sharp critique of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leader Mukul Wasnik highlighted unmet promises made to transform Puducherry into a leader in business, education, spirituality, and tourism. Speaking to reporters, Wasnik expressed dismay over the lack of action since Modi's 2021 election pledge.
Wasnik accused Puducherry's administration of corruption and criticized the escalating drug abuse among schoolchildren, citing concerns raised by the Lieutenant Governor. He labeled the current government as the weakest in the union territory's history.
As campaign efforts ramp up for the INDI bloc in the upcoming elections, Wasnik emphasized the alliance's commitment to addressing these pressing issues and fulfilling promises left unacted upon by the ruling party.
