Tragic Loss: Punjab Congress Leader Khushbaz Singh Jattana Dies in Road Accident
Punjab Congress leader Khushbaz Singh Jattana died in a road accident when a truck hit his parked SUV in Kundli, Haryana. Jattana, 45, was the district Congress president and unsuccessfully contested two Punjab assembly elections. The accidental death has left a void in the Congress party.

Punjab Congress leader Khushbaz Singh Jattana was tragically killed after his stationary SUV was struck by a truck in Haryana's Sonipat district, police reported. The accident, which also claimed the life of his driver, occurred while Jattana was fixing a deflated tire on the Kundli-Ghaziabad-Palwal Expressway.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (Rai), Sonipat, Vipin Ahlawat confirmed that Jattana and his driver, Parminder Singh, died, while his gunman sustained injuries. Following the collision, the truck driver fled the scene, although the vehicle has since been identified, according to police sources.
Punjab Congress president Amrinder Singh Raja Warring expressed deep grief over Jattana's death, calling it devastating. The tragic incident has left the party mourning the loss of a dynamic leader. Jattana's body is held at Sonipat Civil Hospital as the party leaders and family await further procedures.
