Karnataka Lokayukta Exposes Bribery in Khata Case
Two Bengaluru Municipal Corporation officials were arrested by the Karnataka Lokayukta police for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs three lakh regarding pending Khata work. The case was registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act. The officials were caught in a trap and are currently in custody while the investigation continues.

The Karnataka Lokayukta police achieved a successful operation on Thursday, arresting two officials from the Bengaluru Municipal Corporation under charges of bribery.
These officials allegedly demanded a bribe of Rs three lakh to process pending Khata documentation for a building, as per the complainant's report.
They were trapped by the Lokayukta police during a sting operation, leading to their arrest and ongoing further investigation.
