In a significant move against drug trafficking, Jammu's district administration took decisive action by demolishing the residential properties of two alleged drug peddlers on the outskirts of the city. The operation was part of the 'Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyaan' campaign designed to combat the narcotics menace.

Heavy police presence accompanied the deployment of bulldozers to the Indra Nagar Colony in Miran Sahib, where the demolitions took place. The properties belonged to individuals booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, highlighting the administration's commitment to seizing assets involved in illegal drug trade.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate Anuradha Thakur and Sub-Divisional Police Officer Gurmeet Singh supervised the action. This followed a similar operation on Thursday in Rajiv Nagar, where three properties linked to drug activities were demolished, demonstrating a continued crackdown on drug-linked assets in the region.
