Crackdown in Jammu: Police Nab Notorious Criminals
Police in Jammu have arrested three alleged hardcore criminals in a move against criminal elements and narcotics trade. Arrests include Amit Kumar, with six FIRs, and residents Lovely and Swaran Singh. Heroin, a USA-made Beretta pistol, and vehicles were seized. Investigations continue to dismantle the criminal network.

In a decisive crackdown, police have apprehended three alleged hardcore criminals on the outskirts of Jammu city. The arrests are part of ongoing efforts to combat criminal activities and narcotics trade, according to Superintendent of Police Anna Sinha.
Amit Kumar, a Sehora resident involved in multiple criminal cases, was among those arrested. Kumar faces serious charges, including attempt to murder and abduction. During the operation, officers recovered 254 grams of heroin, a USA-made Beretta pistol, and a Baleno car allegedly used in the crime.
In a separate arrest, police detained Lovely Singh and Swaran Singh of R S Pura, recovering heroin, a Thar vehicle, six mobile phones, and Rs 25,000 in cash. Both face charges related to abduction and attempt to murder. The police urge public assistance in reporting criminal activities.
