Madhya Pradesh police announced the successful dismantling of an organized gang with ties to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's associate. This significant breakthrough came as a result of coordinated efforts by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) and Special Task Force (STF) which culminated in the arrest of three main suspects involved in a severe extortion case in the Kolar Road area.
According to the police statement, the arrested individuals were implicated in demanding money from their victim through WhatsApp calls. They intensified fear by secretly recording and transmitting videos of the complainant's residence. Nirmal Tiwari, resident of the Banda district in Uttar Pradesh, was identified as the person who conducted the reconnaissance operations and captured the incriminating footage.
In further developments, the main perpetrator Anand Mishra, known for financing and directing the operation, was detained from Banda. Deputy Inspector General Rahul Kumar Lodha revealed ongoing connections between Mishra and an aide of Lawrence Bishnoi, identified as Harry Boxer. As the investigation unfolds, more details about the gang's extensive network are expected to emerge.
