The Uttarakhand Police have initiated legal action by filing three FIRs against unknown persons who allegedly circulated misleading videos about the ongoing Kedarnath Yatra, officials confirmed on Thursday.
According to official reports, these misleading social media posts claimed pilgrims were turned away and faced disorganization, which authorities have firmly denied.
In response to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's directive, the police are pursuing strict action against instigators, asserting that the videos distort facts and unnecessarily alarm the public.
