Forgery and Deception: The Impostor Scientist Behind Bars

In a dramatic turn of events, a 34-year-old individual has been apprehended for his involvement in aiding a fraudster who masqueraded as a Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) scientist. Police confirmed the arrest on Monday as part of an ongoing investigation.

The culprit, identified as Munazzil Khan, reportedly assisted the primary suspect, Akhtar Hussain Qutubuddin Ahmed, who is alleged to have traveled the nation under false pretenses, impersonating a BARC scientist. His arrest followed last week's detainment by Mumbai Police Crime Branch.

Authorities seized maps and purported documents concerning nuclear weapons from Ahmed, while efforts to authenticate these materials are in progress. Khan, a cyber cafe operator, is believed to have played a crucial role in this deception by fabricating counterfeit educational certificates with advanced VPN technology, which masked their digital activities. The investigation continues as police delve deeper into this elaborate scheme.
