A dramatic police operation led to the arrest of Vikas alias Bagga, a suspected gang member, after a shootout in Delhi's Dwarka area. The incident unfolded after police received intelligence that Vikas was arriving to meet an associate and set up a trap for his capture.
Upon arrival, Vikas allegedly opened fire at the police, hitting a constable's bulletproof vest. The officers returned fire, wounding him in the leg. He was then subdued and taken into custody.
Vikas, a resident of Rohtak, Haryana, was wanted for several serious crimes, including murder and robbery, and is alleged to have connections with the notorious Anil Chippi and Kala Jatheri gangs.
