Israel's military announced on Monday that Hamas has delivered the remains of another hostage to the Red Cross in Gaza. The action falls under the ongoing ceasefire agreement initiated on October 10, which has already seen the return of 15 hostages' remains.
Despite these efforts, 12 more bodies remain to be recovered in Gaza. Meanwhile, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar confirmed that Israel opposes Turkish troop involvement in the proposed international peacekeeping force, suggested by the United States to oversee the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.
The 20-point ceasefire deal, facilitated by U.S. President Donald Trump, plans for an international force to monitor the situation but does not specify troop-contributing countries. It's intended to assist Palestinian police forces and involves consultation with Jordan and Egypt. The agreement's first phase is currently underway, focusing on exchanging remaining deceased hostages with Palestinian bodies held by Israel.
