In an exclusive interview with ANI, UAE Ambassador to India, Abdulnasser Jamal Alshaali, outlined the persisting security issues in West Asia, emphasizing that regional tensions are far from resolved.
Alshaali disclosed that the UAE has endured 2,890 unprovoked missile and drone assaults since late February, more than any other nation involved in the conflict. These attacks, he stated, targeted civilian infrastructure in a bid to create terror and destabilize the economy.
The ambassador highlighted the UAE’s effective defense strategy, which successfully intercepted most threats, while international bodies condemned sovereignty violations. Stressing the importance of diplomacy, Alshaali insisted on addressing core security challenges in any peace agreement and acknowledged the Indian community's integral role in the UAE.
