Maoist Leaders Neutralized in Jharkhand Security Operation
Four Maoists, including top regional leaders with bounties, were killed by security forces in a gunfight in Jharkhand. The operation, part of 'Operation KotiNeer,' resulted in no security personnel injuries. This significant development follows a nationwide declaration of freedom from Maoist violence by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

In a decisive operation in Jharkhand's Hazaribag district, security forces neutralized four Maoists, including key regional leaders, during a gunfight on Friday. Among those killed was Sahdeo Maho, a notable figure with a substantial bounty of Rs 15 lakh, police officials confirmed.
'Operation KotiNeer', conducted with precise intelligence, also resulted in the deaths of Ranjit Ganjhu and two others, identified as Area Commander Budhan Karmali and sub-zonal committee member Natasha, who were involved in numerous criminal cases.
The operation highlighted the reduction in Left Wing Extremism across India, with Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently declaring the absence of Naxal violence-affected districts in the country during a parliamentary session. The ongoing security efforts have been pivotal in this transformation.
