The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) announced plans to construct five multi-level car parking facilities across the city, targeting key locations like Karkardooma and Dwarka. Aimed at easing parking woes and ensuring smoother traffic movement, these projects will boast a combined capacity of 1,261 equivalent car spaces (ECS).
To complement the financial viability of these projects, sections of each parking development will feature commercial spaces. By designating land for commercial use, the DDA seeks to cultivate vibrant urban environments across Delhi's densely populated zones.
The DDA anticipates completing these projects within three years, aligning with efforts to modernize areas like Dwarka and transform them into well-planned urban hubs. The initiative builds on earlier successes, including development phases at Nehru Place District Centre.
