A Delhi court has issued an order restraining Aam Aadmi Party leaders from sharing defamatory content against BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj, related to her detention during BJP's protest. The court's decision follows a defamation suit by Swaraj, seeking damages and a public apology from the AAP and its leaders.

In a recent ruling, a Delhi court has acted against the Aam Aadmi Party and its leaders for circulating defamatory content targeting BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj. The court has issued a temporary order, requiring that all such content be removed and no further defamatory materials be disseminated until the next hearing.
The legal proceedings stem from a defamation suit filed by MP Swaraj who was detained during the BJP's 'Aakrosh March' in connection to the Constitution Bill protest. She claims that AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj posted a misleading video about her detention, damaging her reputation.
The court's decision mandates the immediate removal of the content from social media, citing irreparable harm to Swaraj's reputation while reaffirming the rights of free speech under defined legal boundaries. The case is set for further hearing on May 13.
