This statement came in response to Pahalgam MLA Altaf Ahmad Wani's inquiry in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly. The project, aiming to boost tourism, is designed to span 1.4 kilometers from the Yatri Niwas in Pahalgam to Baisaran.
Although tenders were finalized and agreed upon with Ronmas India Pvt. Ltd., the post-attack scenario has delayed commencement. The government stresses the project's economic significance and is eager to resume work once NIA gives the go-ahead.
