Union Home Minister Amit Shah has confidently asserted that the BJP is poised for a significant victory in the recent West Bengal assembly elections. Addressing a press conference in Kolkata, Shah stated that the BJP anticipates winning more than 110 out of the 152 seats in the first phase of voting.

He emphasized the enthusiastic turnout of the electorate, highlighting a record 92 percent voter participation. Shah commended the Election Commission and security forces for ensuring a peaceful polling process, contrasting it with previous elections marred by violence and intimidation.

Shah outlined the BJP's commitment to addressing key issues in West Bengal, including ending corruption and enhancing women's safety. The party plans to release a White Paper on corruption during the TMC's tenure and prioritize the empowerment of women through strategic nominations. The BJP envisions transformative reforms to bring about 'parivartan', breaking syndicates and fostering development.
