Himachal Pradesh BJP vice president Vipin Parmar has confidently stated that the Congress will face a stinging defeat in the upcoming urban local body elections. This, he argued, will lay the groundwork for a BJP triumph in the 2027 assembly elections in the state.
Parmar accused the Congress-led state government of attempting to delay the elections for several months. However, with the poll schedule now announced, he asserts that the public will deliver a decisive verdict through their votes.
Emphasizing the BJP's commitment to grassroots work and strategic planning, Parmar criticized the Congress tenure as 'anti-people' and highlighted the government's failure to meet any of the 10 guarantees it made before coming to power. This dissatisfaction, he claims, will be evident in the electoral outcomes.
