Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has launched a scathing attack on the central government, accusing it of using the Enforcement Directorate (ED) as a political weapon to harass non-BJP states.
Recent raids on state minister Sanjeev Arora and AAP leaders have fueled Mann's allegations of the BJP strategizing for upcoming Punjab elections by intimidating opposition parties through federal agencies.
Mann also suggested that the central government, led by two chief leaders and their favored industrialists, is undermining democratic processes, stating that these actions resemble tactics of dictatorial rule rather than governance by the people.
