Ashok Mittal has been appointed as the new deputy leader of the Aam Aadmi Party in the Rajya Sabha, succeeding Raghav Chadha. Mittal met with Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu at Lok Niwas on Friday for discussions. Chadha, removed from his position, claimed he was silenced, while party leaders suggested he focused on superficial PR rather than substantive issues.
