Gautam Adani, the billionaire chairman of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ), has set a new strategic target for the company: handling 1 billion tonnes of cargo by 2030, following the recent achievement of over 500 million tonnes.
Adani believes APSEZ has grown into an unparalleled port network spanning 20 locations, both domestically and internationally, serving as a vital conduit for trade and logistics.
In line with India's economic expansion, APSEZ aims to quintuple its logistics and marine services operations over the next five years, supported by organizational restructuring to enhance on-ground decision-making and responsiveness.
