Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a grand welcome in Puducherry from BJP supporters, as chants of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' and 'Jai Shri Ram' filled the air. The visit marked the beginning of a vibrant roadshow leading up to the April 9 territorial assembly elections.
Joined by Chief Minister N Rangasamy and Home Minister A Namassivayam, Modi's motorcade traveled a brief route between the Ajanta signal point and Kamarajar statue/Raja theatre signal, covering less than 2 kilometers.
The event was further enlivened by cultural performances and traditional dances, showcasing Puducherry's rich heritage and adding a festive touch to the political procession.
