Kerala vs Telangana: A Battle of Governance Narratives

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has strongly countered criticisms from Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy regarding Kerala's governance. In a social media post, Vijayan accused Reddy of being 'misinformed' about the state's achievements and governance models.

Highlighting Kerala's social and developmental successes, Vijayan said the state leads the NITI Aayog Sustainable Development Index and has the lowest poverty rate in India. He invited Reddy to visit Kerala to witness its welfare model firsthand, contrasting Kerala's literacy and health statistics favorably against Telangana's figures.

Vijayan also dismissed allegations of corruption and administrative failure, suggesting Reddy should be more informed about Kerala’s governance. He concluded by inviting Reddy to learn governance lessons from Kerala, in response to Reddy's electoral critiques during a campaign in the state.
