Amid the charged political atmosphere, DMK leader Kanimozhi recently criticized AIADMK for its alliance with BJP. Comparing the fate of AIADMK leader Edappadi K Palaniswami to that of JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar, she urged AIADMK to assume opposition status for the sake of Tamil Nadu's democracy.
Addressing a public gathering, Kanimozhi emphasized that the upcoming elections were not just an ordinary contest but a defining moment for Tamil identity, symbolized by the battle between the Keeladi archaeological findings and Nagpur, the RSS headquarters. She accused the BJP of undermining Tamil heritage and imposing Hindi.
Highlighting DMK's achievements and development promises, she expressed confidence in their electoral victory, which she declared would inspire national resistance against divisive politics.
