Renowned golfer Tiger Woods found himself in an unexpected predicament last week in Florida. Body camera footage released Thursday depicts Woods expressing shock upon being handcuffed by law enforcement officers after crashing his vehicle.
According to deputy Tatiana Levenar of the Martin County Sheriff's Office, Woods showed signs of impairment by an unknown substance during a sobriety test. The incident occurred as Woods' speeding vehicle clipped a truck and rolled over on Jupiter Island.
In the footage, officers discovered pills, later identified as Norco, in Woods' pocket. The golfer later stated he was not intoxicated but had taken medications earlier. Opting for legal measures, Woods entered a not guilty plea for DUI and announced an indefinite leave to focus on treatment.
