Silence in the Halls: Unprecedented Resignation of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar

In a surprising move, former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar resigned from his post on July 21, citing health issues. This marked a significant event in Indian political history, characterized by Dhankhar's sudden disappearance from public life, which the Congress has openly criticized.

Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh pointed out that it's been over 100 days since Dhankhar's resignation, noting that the opposition has consistently advocated for a farewell function befitting the former vice president, a tradition followed for his predecessors.
