The Mokama assembly segment in Bihar is set to witness a fierce political contest as 'Chhote Sarkar' Anant Singh and 'Dada' Suraj Bhan Singh, two gangster-turned-politicians, prepare for a showdown.
Anant Singh enjoyed dominance from 2005 till a legal disqualification in 2022, paving the way for his wife Neelam Devi to hold the seat. Conversely, with Suraj Bhan Singh disqualified, his wife Veena Devi has entered the fray, seeking voter favor.
As the electoral clash escalates, Mokama's electorate of 2.84 lakh voters will decide the outcome, with both camps confident of their resurgence in the upcoming assembly elections.
