BJP's Tejasvi Surya Pushes for Sustainable Traffic Solutions in Bengaluru

BJP MP Tejasvi Surya on Tuesday advocated for bipartisan support on key infrastructure projects like the Peripheral Ring Road (PRR) to alleviate Bengaluru's traffic issues, aligning with Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar.

While stressing the importance of political scrutiny, Surya criticized the proposed Tunnel Road initiative for its lack of long-term benefits, urging the government to prioritize public transportation instead.

Surya conveyed the need for world-class pedestrian infrastructure and contractor accountability while promoting public transport as the sustainable solution for reducing traffic congestion in Bengaluru.
