A wedding celebration turned into chaos when an alleged dispute over the customary 'neg' erupted into violence in Husainpur village on Wednesday night.
A group of kinnars, demanding Rs 11,000 as a gift, allegedly opened fire after a disagreement with the groom's family, leaving a teenage boy critically injured.
Authorities responded swiftly, and arrests were made after the locals managed to subdue the suspects. Recovered weapons suggested premeditated violence, according to police reports.
