In a shocking incident that has raised security alarms in a gated Southeast Delhi community, a 19-year-old man, recently dismissed as domestic help, allegedly raped and murdered a 22-year-old woman preparing for the UPSC exams.
Local sources report that Rahul Meena was seen near the victim's residence on Wednesday morning. Despite being questioned by locals about his presence after his job termination, he claimed to be looking for work. CCTV footage captured him entering the premises prior to the crime.
The tragic event has stirred fear among residents, as the upscale locality had previously felt secure. Concerns are heightened due to the absence of a security guard for the building despite the colony being gated.
