In a heart-wrenching tragedy, a 22-year-old IIT graduate was found dead in her upscale Southeast Delhi residence, allegedly raped and murdered by former househelp Rahul Meena. The shocking incident unfolded in the Kailash Hills locality on a Wednesday morning.
According to police reports, Meena, a 19-year-old domestic worker previously employed by the victim's family, was arrested in connection with the crime. The victim was preparing for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exams and was alone at home when the heinous act took place.
The investigation revealed Meena had previously worked for the family and was terminated around a month ago. CCTV footage confirmed his movements in the area on the day of the crime. Authorities are gathering evidence to ensure he faces the full force of the law.
