A mysterious balloon inscribed with 'PIA' and bearing an image of the Pakistani flag was discovered in the bushes near a village in Himachal Pradesh's Chamba district on Wednesday. Police officials confirmed that the balloon was spotted by a former pradhan of Nagali gram panchayat, who promptly reported it to the Khairi police station.
Upon receiving the report, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dalhousie, Mayank Sharma led a team to the location to investigate the matter. The balloon has been taken into custody and secured in a room designated for such inquiries. Authorities have launched a full-scale investigation to determine the balloon's origin and purpose.
