AAP Targets Haryana: A New Hope for Municipal Elections

The Haryana Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), under the leadership of Sushil Gupta, announced its intention to contest the upcoming municipal corporation elections in Panchkula, Ambala, and Sonipat. Gupta emphasized that the electorate is seeking change and is dissatisfied with the BJP and Congress' governance.

Following discussions with AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal, Gupta declared that AAP would field candidates for all major positions, including mayors and ward councillors, offering a slate of honest and capable nominees. The party's strategy focuses on eliminating corruption and ensuring reliable public services in areas such as electricity, water, and sanitation.

This municipal election, scheduled for May 10, is positioned by AAP as pivotal for Haryana's future. Gupta claims that the polling will lay the groundwork for progress akin to reforms seen in Punjab, aiming for an administration that delivers on its promises with integrity.
