Bookies Busted: Six Arrested in Haryana for Illegal IPL Betting

Six individuals have been apprehended by police in Haryana's Nuh district on suspicion of illegal betting during an IPL match, according to an official statement released on Thursday. The arrest took place after the Crime Investigation Agency executed a raid on a residence near the Tauru bypass.

The accused, identified as Lakhu, Rakmuddin, Sazid, Ramzan from Panchgaon village, and Moeen and Mubin from Bawla village, were found allegedly involved in betting on the cricket match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Lucknow Super Giants.

Police recovered nine mobile phones, Rs 13,350 in cash, an LED TV, a set-top box, and detailed customer betting accounts from the premises. An FIR has been filed at the Tauru police station in connection with this case, as confirmed by a police spokesperson.
