Bihar BJP MLA Maithili Thakur voiced strong criticism against the opposition after a significant women's quota bill failed to pass in the Lok Sabha on Friday.
The defeated Constitution amendment bill aimed to implement a 33% reservation for women in legislatures by 2029, as well as increase the number of Lok Sabha seats.
Thakur accused the opposition of holding an 'anti-women mindset,' framing their actions as prioritizing political gain over genuine women's empowerment efforts led by the current government.
