On Friday, the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu, reinforced his government's commitment to merit-based governance by distributing appointment letters to 461 newly recruited candidates. These individuals were selected through the Combined Secondary Level Examination (CSLE) 2025, organized by the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB), symbolizing transparency in public service recruitment.
Khandu underscored the importance of a merit-driven system where effort and integrity are paramount. Around 47,132 candidates competed for Group C and D positions across 26 departments, illustrating the state's growing competitiveness. The CM lauded the success of the selected candidates, attributing it to their hard work and perseverance.
Highlighting reforms in recruitment processes since his tenure began, Khandu emphasized fairness and equal opportunity. He noted the significant achievement of Scheduled Tribe candidates, who claimed 39 unreserved seats. Emphasizing technology's role in governance, he urged recruits to embrace AI and machine learning, directing departments to implement tech-based training collaboratively.
