Tragedy on Wheels: Loco Pilot Shot Dead in Bihar

A 30-year-old loco pilot, Pramod Kapar, was tragically shot dead by motorcycle-borne assailants in the Samastipur district of Bihar on a Friday morning. The incident happened near the Tajpur police station area as Kapar was returning home from work on his two-wheeler, according to a senior officer.

Sadar-1 SDPO Sanjay Kumar Pandey stated that unidentified gunmen targeted the loco pilot, prompting a police investigation. Authorities are interrogating local residents and reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity to uncover the identity of the attackers. In the meantime, raids are being carried out in the area.

Kapar's body was swiftly transported for a post-mortem examination. Local accounts suggest that the assailants fired multiple shots at Kapar while he was on his way home, leading to his immediate death at the scene. The community is in shock as police continue their probe into this grim event.
