In a firm rebuttal to recent criticisms, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann addressed accusations from BJP leaders concerning the explosive incident near the party's Chandigarh headquarters. Emphasizing jurisdictional boundaries, Mann highlighted that the area falls under the Union territory and not his administration.
While dedicating a Community Health Centre in Cheema village, Mann clarified that despite repeated blamings by BJP for disturbances in Chandigarh, including farmers' agitations and extortion cases, the Union territory is overseen by its Administrator.
In response to other political movements, Mann decried the Congress-led Himachal government's new entry tax on out-of-state vehicles and reiterated his government's dedication to supporting Punjab's farmers and 'Arthiyas' by ensuring smooth procurement and dialogue with the Union government.
