Danish toy giant Lego announces a venture into the sports sector by unveiling a new collection that celebrates soccer icons Vinicius Jr., Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi, and Cristiano Ronaldo. The sets are expected to be released ahead of the 2026 World Cup, spanning the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Amongst these releases are four letter-shaped sets, designed to represent each footballer, priced at $29. Additionally, detailed display models of both Ronaldo and Messi will be priced at $79, while Messi will also feature in meticulous 3D wall art, dramatizing his renowned victory gesture for $179.
Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr. shares that the project resonates with his vision of inclusivity. Lego, having gained success in the motorsport segment, further underscores its position in the market with a compelling, immersive football-themed program aimed to coincide with the forthcoming World Cup festivities.
