During the session, which extended beyond its scheduled end, the Finance Bill 2026-27 and significant ministry grants were approved. Meanwhile, legislation related to Transgender Persons and police forces saw heated debates, with calls for committee reviews stirring further controversy.
Despite opposition walkouts and protests over issues from oil shortages to foreign policy, the session achieved high productivity, passing numerous important bills. Other significant approvals included amendments for Andhra Pradesh's new capital and insolvency law reforms.
