The Delhi government has taken decisive action against illegal LPG refilling centers in Alipur, outer north Delhi. The crackdown follows a sting operation aired on April 1, revealing unauthorized activities.

Officials conducted a raid, uncovering illegal LPG refilling and misuse of consumer passbooks to obtain subsidized cylinders. Legal action has been initiated against those involved, with materials seized and an FIR registered. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta emphasized a zero-tolerance policy on black marketing.

Thirteen district-level teams have been formed to ensure swift action, and citizens are encouraged to report suspicious activities. Transparency measures, including daily briefings, have been implemented to assure consumers of lawful LPG supply.
