Roberto De Zerbi has officially taken on the role of manager for Tottenham Hotspur, vowing to remain in charge next season regardless of results. The decision comes as part of his long-term commitment to the team, which he described as the biggest challenge of his career.

De Zerbi, the former Brighton & Hove Albion manager, steps in following the departure of Croatian coach Igor Tudor. Currently perilously close to relegation, Tottenham has not secured a league victory since December and finds itself just one point above the drop zone.

The Italian manager remains optimistic despite the club's challenging circumstances. "We must concentrate on each game, beginning with Sunderland," he stated confidently. "After this part of the season, I believe we can become great in the future," De Zerbi added.
