The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has initiated a vital project, collaborating with the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) to conduct a thorough survey of historic sites across the sprawling 8,000-acre Delhi Ridge.
The survey, segmented into four zones—Northern, Southern, Central, and South Central Ridge—aims at listing and documenting heritage structures. An MoU was recently signed to formalize this partnership and kick-start the documentation process.
Plans are underway to identify more heritage sites, create trails, and install signages that not only preserve Delhi's architectural treasures but also boost public awareness and engagement, enriching the cultural landscape of the capital city.
