A tragic incident unfolded in Maharashtra's Beed district as a 32-year-old man reportedly took his own life due to frustration over the Banjara community's reservation demands.
The deceased, identified as Pravin Baburao Jadhav, shared a heartfelt video on social media before hanging himself from a tree in Kekat Pangri village. He expressed his discontent with the government’s decision to grant certain privileges to other communities, leaving the Banjaras behind.
Following the tragic event, local residents staged a protest, blocking the Dhule-Solapur road and demanding swift government action. Authorities registered a case of accidental death and are conducting further investigations.
